The Colintraive has four en-suite bedrooms with either country or beautiful sea views across the Kyles. Each room is fitted with super comfy beds & luxury duvets and linen ensuring you will have the best nights sleep possible. All our rooms are on the 1st floor accessed by a staircase. They have smart TVs, freshly baked shortbread, mini fridges for fresh milk and essentials for a warming cup or Argyll coffee or tea whilst taking in the calming surroundings. We are pet-friendly (no snakes as the owner in petrified!) but would kindly ask you to bring your own towels and bed for your four-legged friends. Wifi is available in the bar and each room.

We just had our first visit to this hotel. New owners Claire and Joe are running a lovely hotel. Our room was very comfortable, the food excellent and nothing was any bother for them. We were celebrating my wife’s birthday and there were some special touches to help us celebrate. We look forward to visiting again. Thank you Claire and Joe.

the Attenborough
room
The Attenborough Room (favoured by the late Sir Richard Attenborough) has beautiful sea views from 4 windows across to the Island of Bute. This superior king room is comfortable and spacious. Period and modern furnishings add to your comfort whilst taking in the views or watching the ferry dash, The room has a king size bed (can also be made into a twin), open fireplace, seating area and a large walk-in shower. An additional pull out bed can be arranged on request for one adult or 2 children
the Bute room
Located at the front of the Hotel with stunning sea views down the Kyles, the Bute room is available with either a King size bed or twin beds. It has a contemporary bathroom with a large walk-in shower.
The Ardentraive
A larger room with relaxing country views up to Ardentraive farm and the hills beyond. Great for counting sheep. Comfortable superior king size bed can be made into a twin on request. A sofa or pull out bed is also available on request to fit another adult or two children. In the room you will find an open fireplace, seating area, modern and period furniture & local artwork. This room is for two but can accommodate up to 4 people on request. The newly updated ensuite is cosy with a walk in shower, heated flooring and modern features.

The Cala room
A cosy double room with a country and rooftop view at the back of the house. The ensuite has hillside views, a bath and shower facilities. The room is for two but can accommodate a small child with a temporary bed on request. The room also has a view across the roof of the hotel.
BATHROOMS
Most bedrooms have been recently renovated and feature contemporary shower rooms. Each bathroom is fragranced with local diffusers from Olapip Kilmacolm and offer The Scottish Fine Soaps Company Sea Kelp toiletries which are paraben free and remind us of a sea breeze.
