HORSE RIDING
One of the best ways to discover Argyll’s Secret Coast is on horseback. With ancient woodlands, a stunning coastline, hills and moors, it’s the perfect place for a riding adventure. Wilder Ways offers a range of trail-riding experiences throughout Argyll's Secret Coast and beyond. There’s something for all level and ability of rider. I myself am a regular so we might even get to ride together!
ADVENTURE DAYS OUT

KAYAKING
The calm sheltered waters surrounding Colintraive are perfect for kayaking. Why not bring your kayaks with you during your stay and enjoy the Argyll Sea Kayak trail which runs right past the hotel. WALKING
Scotland is famous for the epic selection of hikes. Established in 2000, the Cowal Way is Scotland’s most diverse long distance footpath. It runs the length of the Cowal Peninsula, passing through some of the most beautiful and varied landscape in the Highlands just a small drive away from the Hotel, why not walk sections of the route or if you're feeling more adventuress tackle it all! The hotel is also within driving distance of some of Scotland's favourite Munros.
HUNTING
Argyll offers visitors the chance to explore the wildlife in one of the most beautiful parts of the Scotland. We are able to arrange Pheasant & Woodcock beats & Deer stalking. FISHING
Scotland is famous for its fishing heritage why not visit The River Ruel, which flows through the scenic area of Glendaruel in the next village. It is possible to discover wonderful salmon and sea trout swimming through it at certain times of the year. “The Ruel really is a fishing hidden treasure - the loveliest river I have fished for years”. Fishing is readily available on a daily or weekly basis and expert professional casting tuition can be arranged.
