FOOD AND A WEE DRAM

We try our best to offer all locally sourced products which I am sure you will agree, are of the finest quality. MacQueens butcher, Fyne Ales from Loch Fyne, Fish from Gigha or Tarbert landed with the langoustines and Eve's Argyll coffee. Winston for the venison to name a few.
Our dining room and lounge have period features and furniture creating a relaxing atmosphere. The views North & South of the Kyles from this room are lovely. The bar is a more cosy affair

We enjoyed our autumnal stay so much that it's tempting to keep quiet about the hotel for selfish reasons, but the owners really do deserve every success. Our room had beautiful views over the water to Bute, (the ferry is a minute's walk from the hotel) and was decidedly cosy. Best thing about the hotel, though, was the welcoming bar where we ate on all three nights of our trip: the food was excellent, likewise the wines, there was a nice friendly atmosphere - not always the case when you are in someone's local - and a warming log-burner, so the overall experience was very relaxing. We aim to return next year.
